My husband and I went for breakfast on one of the frigid January mornings. The food was FABULOUS. And we returned about a week later for an early dinner. My first meal was the breakfast tacos. Best Corn Tortillas outside New Mexico and Mexico! My second meal: Hawaiian Fajitas. Everything was perfect. I am already planning my next meal. What a Galesburg treasure. My family lived in New Mexico for several decades. I have lived in Mexico and traveled there extensively. The corn tortillas at Cielitos Cafe were THE BEST I have had outside either Mexico or New Mexico. My husband and I were chatting until the breakfast tacos appeared. After one bite I went silent. DELICIOSO! It was one of the frigid January mornings and we almost didn’t go. Not only will be go again, I can’t wait to go back for lunch or dinner and try taco plates. The rest of the breakfast plate was also Very Good. Galesburg is lucky to have such good Mexican food.
